Hello,

I am working on a new site and one of the first bits of work I have been given is to mod P17501. Move a few fields around and ADD a few more

Thing is when I try I get the message........
"You cannot complete this Operation. You cannot have more than 250 controls on a single form"

So how would I do this? Tell the analyst he can't have it or ask him if he would like some of the 'non used' FCs carefully deleted from the form

What have you done in this situation?

8.0

Thanks

John

Hi John,

I also faced with this limitation on XE.
Fortunately many of the controls were "array" type, so detached and deleted their labes and placed one static text above these "array type" edit controls.

NOTE: labels, group boxes, static texts, bitmaps, etc. all counts as a control. Try to delete as many as many do not make the form un-understandable, unusable.

If this is not a solution for you, then you should redesign the application with 2 or more forms

I know, it is troublesome job and finally the user won't like it

Thank you Zoltan

I seem to remember CNC can control this setting somewhere but I maybe wrong?
I will have to delete FCs and check on it's impact by the look of it
