Hi, I've been testing with 8.98.0.3 and have discovered that the web client does not sign in successfully on Windows 2000 computers running IE 6 SP1.
Does anyone know how to get 898 web client to work in Windows 2000 computers?

Hi,

a. Is there any reason (other than MS licensing budget)
for you not to to upgrade your Win2000 clients to XP
or Vista?

b. If you don't want to touch your Win2000 boxes, you
can also buy a couple of RDP servers (W2003/W2008) and
run your Web sessions from there, your clients may then
be kept on Win2000, Win95, Win3.11, Linux, OS/2, etc.

c. If you don't have the money, you can still run
(with some limitations) JDE Web Client 8.98 from
Linux on Mozilla 2.0. The only limitations I found
was : not able to export to Excel and not able
to manipulate attachments. That may be a severe
constraint for some customers, but not for everyone.
