BPMBroker Problems

Hello, I am in need for some insight, advice, and/or knowledge. I installled PeopleSoft on a users PC and it did not perform right. Her computer is very fast and fairly new. I went in Control Panel and uninstalled the application. Upon uninstalling, I got the error:
BPMBroker
Error 1719: The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in Safe Mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your Support Personnel for assistance.

I went into Control Panel and tried removing BPMBroker and I got the same error, even as local administrator. Her computer is so slow now, it is unusable. HELP!!!!

This is a known issue. From what I understand, you have to modify some registry values in order to resolve. Check the following link:

- E1 Version
- Service Pack / Tools version
- Windows Client OS?
