All,
After the upgrade of JAS to SP17, I cannot run a GenAll without hitting an OutOfMemoryError. When I run GenAll on just Reports, it errors at 45%. Then I resume and it errors at 72%. Another resume will finally finish the job.
I have a call open with JDE. The focus is on proper ini setup and eGenerator MTRs. I seem to have everything in place. One other thing that has been pointed out to me is the RAM requirements on my machine are the 512 minimum and not the 1.2GB recommended. However, it seems bizarre that 512MB is not enough memory to complete just the report gen. On SP15.1 I was able to complete the gen with 256MB.
Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? Does anyone have a 512MB eGenerator and is able to run a complete GenAll? Able to use Parallel mode?
Thanx much,
Doug
