Custom EDI

Has anyone implemented any custom EDI transactions within JDE? If so, can you point me to a list of steps or some sort of documentation on what setups are needed?

For instance, we would like to implement the outbound 867/Sales and Rebate Tracings, which are not supported at all by OW xe. Obviously, a lot of custom programming will be done to create the information needed in some custom tables, but if we want to treat this like every other EDI transaction from that point forward, what is necessary.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Lynn,
best thing is to have a look on G47 menu (G47212 for SO ) ; you will find there the thread to get SO into OW with standard EDI msg to add a custom msg type:
- add a line in P47002 (make a copy of similar msg ie : 850)
- create a vsn of R47002C suitable for your added msg type
- follow the steps (four first ) available within G47212
and you will normally get SO introduced in the OW db (cf F4201/F4211)
