Batch Control and the Web Client

What has anyone seen with the web client and the use of batch control. Particularly in A/P, the batch control header screen does not appear when entering vouchers in P4314. I understand, after much prodding, that batch control is not supported in XE on the web client. Can't understand why for the life of me. But, has anyone applied the necessary ESU's or created their own workaround to get this to work? I would be very interested.
