HI,
Does anybody have any experience in doing a paralell installation of OneWorld-B7332 and XE.
I'm thinging of doing a fresh installation of XE on 2 seperate servers then importing the data from the old database to the new database, use this as the testing stage once all okay, then re-import the data back into the old database.I have many users and I want to have minimal disruption to the end users.
Why I need to do it this way is as follows:-
My enterprise server is a sun server and we only have 1, The deployment server however is a compaq server and I have a spare server, also I want to upgrade to Win2000
So I will keep the new deployment server, but the enterprise server will be the old one.
Will there be any problems doing it this way, Custom modifcations, old packages, central objects, objects or anything else.
