Planner ESU JD14838 fails to update object specs

I'm trying to prepare to install SP20, and then SP20_E1, by first loading the latest Planner ESU, JD14838. When I go to run the setup.exe, it seems to be working fine, until near the end when it's says its copying binary files. Then it pops up a warning message saying "Setup failed to update the package with the new object specs. Please check the jdeinst.log for more information." I'll attach a copy of the jdeinst.log, too.

<br>Has anyone else run into this problem, or found a solution? I've logged a call with JDE Support, too, and will keep this updated if I get a resolution from them.

I just received a reply from JDE Support (very good turnaround time!) which referred me to document OTM-01-0017. Basically, I had to add the deployment server's system\bin32 directory into the system PATH environment variable. Then the Planner ESU installed fine.
