All,
Client has customers that define a case in different ways. In the past, they've tried to accomodate their needs and have NOT used UOM conversions. Now, we're setting up conversions and they're contemplating the following:
Assigning different UOM to designate different types of cases (3 to or 5 to) and then making sure that these cases configurations are utilized during packing.
I know that a pivotal table that "could" be used is the F4104, but before I investigate the heavy mods, I want to find out if anyone here has done Item/Customer specific UOM conversions. We want to maintain standard UOM, use the primary on the sales order and work order (we're remanufacturing items) and have this case information define the packing process at the end.
Thanks in advance,
