Ratio analysis

Hi list,

in a review of accounting packages it is said that JD Edwards has ratio analysis possibilities. Are there any predefined reports or screens in the Finance suite or do you have to develop them yourself? Just wondering. Thanks for any reply in advance.

My experience has been that you need to create your own financial analysis reports. JDE reports are very limited and usually not consistent with your business process and/or reporting standards/definitions.

Also, depending on the type of analysis you are looking for, you will need to investigate the applications in a bit more detail. For example, A/R has some good information on the statistical inquiry screens and aging screens.
