PV & Currency

Hi all,

Occasinally I get this:

A PV originally created with $0 PVs, in foreign currency, results in GL entries with non-zero dollar entries on the domestic side. Both domestic and foreign sides in the AR ledger are 0, the foreign side of the GL is 0, yet the domestic JE is different from 0. And it's not rounding.

Anyone come across this before?

Have you checked the currency code on the F0911? Check CRCD and CRCX.

What is the base currency of the company? Company 0000?

If the transaction in the F0911 is in a foreign currency then the AA ledger should be CA * Exchange rate for the currency, so if CA amount is 0 then AA should be 0.

BUT check the mode in F0411 F = Foreign D = Domestic 3 = DO NOT CHANGE

If Mode 3 (used when figures are transfered into JDE from elsewhere) the domestic amount is not calculated but entered AS IS to maintain integrity with imported data. Could this be your problem?
