Hi!

Anyone know why on a FAT client the option to run a UBE locally doesn't even show up (when doing an "override location").

Are you using Windows terminal server client ? I have experienced the same.

Here is the solution / Work around.

You have to get your CNC Admin to do the following:

Copy the datasource 'LOCAL' and give it another name say 'MYLOCAL' for example(Anything other than LOCAL). Everything else is same as LOCAL.

Now while running UBE / overide location, you will see MYLOCAL.

I have the exact same issue. I am doing a hardware change and the first install of the Fat Client contains no LOCAL datasource option.

Did you figure this out?

Apparently JDE kept on seeing the PC as a Terminal Server.
After installing a different OS the issue was "solved".
