Has anyone attempted to put JDE JAS/Web on an X-Series server in an i-Series box? How about putting multiple (4) X-Series servers for JDE Web (for 800 users) in an i-Series 840? Because of the tight integration and dependencies between the i-Series and X-Series...is this configuration "high-availability suicide"?
We are in the process of acquiring multiple x-Series servers and need to write some evaluation criteria. I am interested in hearing the experiences of ANYONE with JDE JAS/WEB on one or multiple x-Series servers. What are the downsides? Any small inconvienences or major nightmares on X-Series compared to separate Compaq servers? Any noticeable performance gains on the X-Series?
