E9.2 Is possible call from BSSV to ORCH?

Hi friends,

We have a bssv that is called form third party. Currently, we have a orchestrator to call a rest service of other third party. And we want join this process and the two worlds, when bssv is called it call to orchestrator, I know directly is not possible, but I'm thinking if I create a bsfn to call orchestrator and from bssv call this bsfn, would works, not? Someone try it before?

Because I need realize some calculates before to pass as input parameters, but yeah, not problem call from bssv to orchestrator, right?

I’ve never tried it from a bssv, but you are able to call it from a business function. I believe so long as you have your Enterprise Server pointing to an AIS server in the JDE.INI, it should work.

BSSV can do a REST api call to the AIS server too, but a lot of authentication overhead there.

Yeah! you are right, from BSSV could call AIS Server Orchestrator as external Service using jersey java package for example, but I thought directly. Thanks!
