Hi
I was wondering if anybody has used interoperability to ship confirm sales
orders. We have some external warehouses which we would like to receive an
edi file back in from telling us what they actually shipped to a customer. I
have played around with the 861 transaction but am having mixed success with
it. It seems to move the status of the order to 560 580 (ship confirmed
ready to invoice) but it does not seem to adjust the weights of the products
to what was actually shipped.
In our normal setup, we relieve inventory at ship confirm. This transaction
does not relieve inventory either. This in itself in not a huge problem as
we can set the system to relieve inventory at sales update. However we do
need the 861 transaction to change the sales order to the correct weight
shipped.
Has anybody had any experience with this. Am I way off track? Any help would
be appreciated.
