We are setting up a 3rd party warehouse that will store and ship inventory for us. We want to integrate this process with OneWorld so that we know in “real time” when items ship out or are received in to the warehouse. We will be using transportation management (currently implementing it). I would like advice on the best approach to integrating the third party warehouse with OneWorld. As far as I can see the options are:
1. Use supplier self service capability to allow 3d party to ship and receive inventory
2. Give secure, limited, but direct access to OneWorld so that 3d party can ship and receive in OneWorld
3. Develop a custom interface using XML, EDI or something similar to write to OneWorld
Please provide any recommendations, opinions, comments or other info you may have. Please identify other options if known. Thanks.
