Fixed Asset Report Writer Processing Options?

Fixed Asset Report Writer has Processing Option Template, which we could use for JE and FY values.
Has anyone come across the problem that the FY and Period number is not recognized by the Processing Option Values entered in when the report is executed?

We do not have any Section event rules for the report regarding the PO template. Not sure if we should have event rules to connect. PS says we do need the event rules.
However, the report will pick the correct information if we have the PO values for Period Number and the same in the Report data selection.

Any help would be appreciated.
