After recently switching from IE to Edge, we found several forms that stopped processing data (e.g. PO Receipt). It turns out with tools 9.2.5.4, there is a known bug where UDC dropdowns don't register selected values properly in some circumstances. It is supposed to be fixed in 9.2.5.5 and 9.2.6.2, and is documented in Oracle Doc. 2801538.1. Our workaround was to disable the UDC dropdown list and just use the traditional visual assist search and select.
