E1 JAS DV812 and PY812 on the same port

We are experiencing serious I guess caching issues with out Development JAS server. We have DEV and PY on the same port and if you login to JDV812 and you get in, then you log out and try to login to JPY812 your task list does not show up at all you have to wait a few minutes and then try to login again. We have tried literally every setting in IE and on the JAS server. The option Oracle gave me is to put each instance on its own port, so now I have to re-configure my JAS setup. Has anyone seen this and more so got it resolved without putting each instance on it's own port.

We are on E 8.12 TR 8.96 B1

You should definitely put your environments in their own JAS instance in
their own port. Sharing the JAS instance means sharing the cache. If you
log into JDV then specs are loaded into the JAS instance from the DV specs.
If you then log out and log into JPY and run the same apps, the JAS server
checks its cache first for performance, finds the specs for that app (not
caring what env it came from) and runs them from cache. So you end up
running DV specs on JAS even though you are logged into JPY. Which ever
env hits the specs first, loads those into cache so sharing the JAS
instance means you end up crossing and mixing your specs.

Best to follow Oracle's advice on this one.

Kind Regards,
