Security Fat Client Vs HTML

Hello list,

I am running into an issue where when the user accesses Batch Version via Fat Client, its works fine. When they log on on the web, a message comes up notifying them they are not authorized to run the application.

I have re-generated the serialised objects, bounced services for both web and enterprise servers and no success. Please help

Just put the report/version in any menue and generate that menue.
That should do the trick.

I did that already and that didnt resolve the issue.

We've had this before, turned out to be nothing tragic just a little gotcha.

Batch versions is a different application in the web compared to a fat client.

Fat client batch versions is P98305, web one is P98305W.

Make sure your application security covers both.

Try just running a web gen for menu's only. There is an issue with JDE where this happens after a full gen, regenning the menus is the fix. FYI the security info gened during the menu gen.
