Which Environments need a Updt Pkg build after SP install

Let me show my lack of training and ignorance.

On ERP8, instructions for SP install list steps to build an Foundation only update package. I thought that was needed for PD only. Should I really be building DV & PY update packages also??

No it is needed only for one environment. It replaces the foundation
that all of the environments share.

You only need to deploy to PD. A foundation only package updates the System folder under B7. It really doesn't matter which environment, but since most of your users only have the PD environment that will suffice.
