AS400 Profile \'JDE\' - password change

Hello JDElist, we changed the AS400 profile: 'JDE' at the weekend and all seemed fine until we noticed that the profile kept becoming 'Disabled' by users qzdasoinit jobs. No users on the system have the 'JDE' profile in their user security settings so it cannot be this. The only thing I can think of is the Client Access connection setting for each user. Has anyone else had this problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason.

Check the JDE.INI file on the Enterprise Server. It would be using JDE to start the services by default.

Re: AS400 Profile \'JDE\' - password change

I have followed the documentation for changing this password and changed it in the two places required in the JDE.INI file on the AS400. Its my thinking that some users are unintentionally disabling this profile with hidden connections that are using the old password. I need a way of tracing them back so I can address the incorrect settings.

Do you have mapped drives which have login and passwords. Check those
