Hi,

We are currently running on JDE 9.1 version and we are supposed to change the passwords for Default Database accounts in JDE. (APPLEAD, DD812, DD910, DEVSAVE,DEVUSER,DV812, DV910, JDEDBA, OL812,OL910, PRODDTA, PRODUSER, SVM812, SVM910, SY812, SY910, TESTCTL, TESTDTA).

Also from P980001, we have only 4 system users which are not any of the above IDs. What is the process of changing passwords for the above accounts?

Note: accounts in JDE are authenticated using LDAP logins.

Seeni, I just wanted to confirm you weren't using iSeries (AS400). The database accounts such as PRODDTA etc. are the "owners" of their database schemas, and are normally not directly used by JDE and therefore are not needed to be JDE accounts. We just changed all of our SQL Server database schema account passwords with absolutely no ill effect.
