ube behaves different on server

Dear all

We have quite a strange problem in Xe. When we run a UBE (custom development) locally (on a TS that is), the UBE runs fine and the PDF output looks really smart.

However, when we deploy the UBE + versions to our enterprise server
(HP9000), the PDF output looks quite different:
None of our report constants are printed (like some column headers, or lines), and none of the text overrides of DD's (or report variables) are printed as well.

Package build and deployment don't show anything out of the ordinary. Any ideas what this could be?

Cheers
Kurt

It sounds like some aspect of your deployment is incomplete.

Make sure that all bsvw(s), custom functions, Custom Files and
anything else required by the UBE is deployed.

Regards!

Daniel

I've also the same problem last week. The problem if you look in UBE logs there is a problem with the specs.
--UBE--[0]-- Unable to resolve OBJ_CONSTANT

Our temporary solution was build a full package. This solve the problem, but we still reviewing the problem of update packages.

Hi Lee

we tried that several times already, but it didn't solve our problem.

a full package may indeed solve it however we have problems building full packages. We've been working on that for a while now
