can't create versions

can\'t create versions

We have a fat client that can not create versions at his desktop or laptop (both are fat clients). If he goes to another fat client and signs on as himself, he is able to create versions through OMW and batch versions. We are on XE SP22_Q1, using Windows XP SP1.

Check that the user has admin rights on his/her pc/laptop.

Do you see any errors, or does the system just hang?? Another thing to check: make sure the System Restore option is turned off.
