E9.2 Using LEX to derive Julian Date/Time from UTC Datetime field

Has anyone been successful in converting to/from UTC field, for instance LRUNUTIM in F980061, to Julian Date (UPMJ) and JDE time (TDAY)?

ER designer in RDA/FDA seemed nicely "fuzzy" when it came to converting values from one type to another, but LEX seems to me to be a bit on the strict side...

Or am I stuck switching to scripting? Would love to keep it in LEX if at all possible.

There are business functions for that. Have a look at Oracle support document Doc ID 626493.1 Search for JDEUTIME and you should find it.
