Upgrade from World A7.3 to 9.1

We are planning an upgrade from A7.3 to 9.1. We want to stage it on a test server first. Would anyone be able to suggest what are the various considerations before the upgrade that can help us decide on the timeline/effort involved for doing the upgrade??
Also if anyone has done an upgrade recently would be nice if you can share your experience in terms of how you went about it.

There is a World Upgrade Consortium that meets in a monthly conference
call that you probably want to get involved with. Check with support on
that. Oracle support also asks that you open up a support case so that
they can track what World customers are doing on the upgrade to 9.1.

My suggestion is that you make copies of your data, object and common libraries(name them something like JDFOBJ91). After you copy, create a library list with the 9.1 libraries and perform the upgrade. I hope that helps...
