Service Order default Service Provider

The Default Service Provider for Service Orders (in CSMS) always flows from either the Default Service Provider setup in the Site Address Book CSMS extension or from another setup in the Equipment Maintainence. Is it possible to derive this Service Provider from the Service Provider defined in the Installed Base.

Absolutely. Leave the Service Provider information blank on the CSMS extension for the customer address book record. If the Service Order does not find a Default Service Provider for the customer, it will draw it from the Service Provider on the Installed Base record.
