Security Server + Firewall Query

We are trying to open our security server to be accessed by a remote location through a firewall. The admin team informed me that they have enabled Telnet for testing, and are asking me for specific ports that need to be opened for using the security/logic server.

I might be wrong, but I was assuming that just opening up prot 6010 used for the security server install would be sufficient.

Do I need to recommend opening any more ports?

I think telnet uses port 25.

Hi,

Currently I have asked them to open port 21(FTP), port 23 (Telnet). I think port 25 is for POP Mail.

Do you recommend opening any other port?
