Hi,
I'm a newbie... from a Canadian company.
Anyway, when the Sales Update R42800 runs it uses the Ambient Qty AMBR column from the table F49211. We use Advanced Pricing for Tax Calculations for US orders.
Now, I have an issue due to conversion from GA to LT and then LT back to GA. The converted LT back to GA doesn't match the original GA exactly. So, I'm getting a Penny Issue on the Extended Amount.
i.e. 25467 GA order
25467 GA * 3.785412 (GA to LT Conversion Rate) = 96403.0874
Now that 96403.0874 is stored in the Ambient AMBR column.
Now because the order is USD dollars it converts the Ambient AMBR back to GA when the Sales Update runs.
96403.0874 * 0.264172 (LT to GA Conversion Rate) = 25466.9964
So as you can see thre is a different, it might be small but it ends up being a penny off.
i.e.
Tax Rax via Advance Pricing 0.0450
25467 * .045 = 1146.015
25466.9964 * .045 = 1146.0148
I'm a Penny Off from the Invoice as the Invoice used the original GA amount. However as shown above the Sales Update doesn't.
Is there a work around for this???
Either by having the F49211 have the AMBR equal the same UOM and quantity as the order. i.e. Stock or Standard Quantity.
I heard of the Preference 47 UOM might work but I can't find a document to help explain how it works.
Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!!!
As I mention I'm a newbie so I'm just learning here... this penny issue is bugging our customers so I need to figure out a solution...
Thanks for your time,
Josh
