Running UBEs Local on Terminal Server

Hi,

Has anyone out there configured Terminal Server so that users can run UBEs locally? I realize that this is against JDE recommendations, but I'm hoping someone out there has done this...

We're running OneWorld XE, SQLServer 7.0, NT Enterprise and Terminal Servers.

Thanks!

Sure just OCM map the job to run local. If the user decides to run it on the
enterprise server then they can override the location. The most obvious
problem with running UBE's local is the amount of resources they are going
to suck up. It won't take to many hard running UBE's to bring your TS to a
snails pace.

We have done this. There is a SAR on the Knowledge Garden that details a change to the Batch Versions application. This change allows you to override the location to Local on the Terminal Server. I will see if I can find the SAR for you.
