Reusing Object Names

I've got 2 objects, an APPL and a BSVW, that I want
to scratch and start over, WITHOUT having to rename them.

Both are copies of JDE vanilla.

One had been checked in, the other not.

Neither will let me delete (Gen Error in Method, Delete.
Logging has mounds of messages, most too vague
to mean much to me).

Is there some backdoor method to get rid of these?

Gene,

Sounds like the OMW Activity rules are not set up correctly. What you can try is to add the following to the jde.ini file....

[OMW]
P9860_OBJECT_LIBRARIAN=E

You can then "fast path" to the old Object Librarian (P9860) provided that your system does not have P9860 blocked via JDE Security.
