E9.2 Requisitions Awaiting Approval Email

What is the best way to have emails sent to users who have Requisitions awaiting their approval? Our .ini file is set up to send emails to our mail server, and Email Addresses have been set up in the Address Book for certain users, but they do not get an email when they have requisitions awaiting their approval.

Do you have the Address Book configured for the email notifications.

1. Is your Time zone setup in Service/Warranty Management Inform (S/WM from Row Exit in Address Book Revision)
2. Message Indicator setup in the Who's Who Email/Internet Revision screen.

Thanks for the response @bthompson !

The Message Indicator is setup. As far as the S/WM, when I took that row exit it asked me to choose between Customer, Service Provider, Technician, or Supplier. This scenario would be for employees.

Your mail server also needs to be setup to allow itself to be a forwarder of smtp emails.

Yes, our mail server is setup in that way. When we create the requisition, we get a Kernal log error
DoSendMessageSinglewithSERK : DoSendMessageSingleWithPref (1) Failed Address Book Number<927312> Contact Number<0>.

Any idea why we would get that error message? The address book number does exist. The user does have an email address in Who's Who|Email/Internet Revisions, with Messaging Indicator set to 1.
