Reinstall World, OneWorld and Coexistence

Very odd situation..........

Working with A74 CUME 11 on V5R4 coexistent with OneWorld Xe Update 6 SP23. Running A/R - World, A/P - Coexistence and GL World. At present we're looking to get Fixed Assets up and running.

Now here were the fun begins.

The original installers did not install all of the World modules before they installed OneWorld. Specifically they did not install Fixed Assests in World before installing it in OneWorld so all of the Fixed Asset tables are in SQL format instead of DDS.

The normal coexistence process is to install all the World modules so the tables get created in DDS and then install OneWorld which can use either DDS or SQL.

If we simply go live with Fixed Assests on OneWorld I assume that this module will not be coexistent and access will be via OneWorld only.

The only alternative is to go back, install the World Fixed Asset tables over the OneWorld Fixed asset tables, re-apply he coexistence PTF and go from there.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Colin,
Nice mess you have there. Makes us look controlled and organized. If you have the choice - make FA OneWorld only. We have sort of moved FA from World to OneWorld. There are some issues with performance with depreciation so are still running it on World. Check that you have ESU JD24449 - we haven't tried yet.
