The spec for the Data Dictionary
(DDDICT.XDB,DDDICT.DDB,DDTEXT.XDB,DDTEXT.DDB )are the same for all
environment, at least you have a different set of Data Dictionary Table for
each environment, and you have to recreate for both environment for
separte.

The global tables specs glbtbl.xdd glbltbl, ddb must be the same for all
environment, but if you have more tables or business view in one
environment than other then you have different spec, and you have to
recreate for both environment for separte.

Regards

Subject: When to recreate global tables and TAM specs

Hello,

We are currently on 733.2 SP 11.3 using the AS/400 as the enterprise
server,
using Citrix WTS. What determines when the global tables and TAM specs need
to get rebuilt and copied to the WTS? If I create them today and deploy an
update package tomorrow do I need to recreate them? Are these tables
effected by packages? It seems like after installing packages to the WTS
the
jiti'ing starts up again. Can these tables be copied from one pathcode to
another or should they be generated using R98CRTGL and R92TAM in each
environment?

Thank you,

Tom,

After you deploy a package you will have to recreate
DD and GLBTBL.
