E9.2 Error on checkout: Final source and target record counts do not matchfor object N56XXXXX and table JDESPECTYPE_GBRSPEC.

I just now did the following steps:

1. Add a function to an NER.
2. Check in that NER.
3. Check out the NER.
4. Delete the new function from the NER.
5. Erase checkout.

I think step 5 was my mistake. Now, I can't checkout. When I attempt to checkout, the OMW logs show the following:

Final source and target record counts do not match
for object N56XXXXX and table JDESPECTYPE_GBRSPEC.

I am guessing that the issue is that the specs on the DV repository still have the old function, but it isn't in the function spec table. Get from DV throws the same error. I can still get from PY and PD.

Has anyone found a solution for this situation....or...have a suggestion of how to either get this thing checked out, or get those corrected specs (from PD, PY, or local) on the DV server ?

I figured out how to fix this:

1. Delete the object. Check "From ALL Locations"
2. Checkout
3. Get from PY or PD.
4. Checkin.

Voila.
