I don't think you can do exactly what you asked.



However, you can write your application to take the spreadsheet items and
write them to a work file. Then, in your ube, change its view to link to the
workfile on the item number. This will restrict your ube data to only the
items in the workfile.

well.. it's actually the jde batch for item cost simulation. I was looking for a solution to select multiple item numbers from the excel file to run this ube without modification to jde UBE. i guess in worst case, i'd just have to copy and modify custom version of the jde ube but just in case they hvae an update on it, i'd rather use the kde ube..
