Quick Start ... but not authorized to CHGJOB

I'm trying to use the Quick Start Application Tool (G93, option 4) and it works great until it tries to build the RPG.

one of the things is does when pulling the information all together to build the source is to do a CHGJOB RUNPTY(25) TIMESLICE(10000) . unfortunately I'm not authorized to change these parms on my job.

does anyone know of ANY way to get around this ... other than putting all the code together from scratch?

I have not used Quick start but I would comment out the chgjob and let it run. If the job runs interactively it will run at priority 10 so be careful as you will be running aginst the other interactive jobs. If it submits it will run at priority 50 so it will just take longer.

Are you able to comment out that line & recompile that program? If so, I believe that running the tool will have a greater impact on other jobs than if you had been able to change those parms.
