we are having one lingering issue. Queue Processes are going in Zombie state/getting Hung.
It is affecting the Production Environment severely.
Environment :
ERP XE , SP24.3.1, Oracle 9.2.0.8 , IBM AIX 5.3 ( All Environments are on different server instances).
Back Ground :
Recently have done service pack upgrade from SP22_Y1 to SP24.3.1.
As MTR necessitates, also done Oracle Database upgrade from Oracle 9.2.0.7 to Oracle 9.2.0.8. (in March 2011)
The issue has started the day database was upgraded, It was assumed that after service pack upgrade the issue will be resolved but to our fate it wasn’t.
Known solution as per oracle support :
1. Database driver issue, in similar kind of situation. Downgrade of Oracle Client from 9.2.0.8 to 9.2.0.7. ( This is already gone into consideration).
Constraint:
2. Oracle will not support Oracle 9.2.0.8 as it has been decommissioned from the support list.
If you had come across such issue and know the solution, Kindly reply to it immediately. Looking forward for your support.
