Does Quality Management only work with Lot Controlled Items ?? Although that would seem I can rationalize that functionally, I have not seen that as a requirement in any JDE documentation. THx...R. Wilson

Based on the tests you setup, system will give the pass/fail conclusion after entering the test results. For non-lot controlled items, the status of item will be switched between and I assumed that is why when enter the test results, the lot/SN field is the must.
