Print results different.

Hi List,

Does anybody have the same experience like what we had that when you print out a report from pdf itself and print out it by command, the results look different?

by clicking Print button, on each page of the report, seems it was cut off from both sides, but if you open it from pdf, then print it from file-print, the report just looks perfect.

right now, my boss asked me to move columns to left a little bit.
i was wondering whether there is better way to solve it.

Thank you for any help.

Hello, Bud,
I had a problem like yours once with cheques. As I found out, the same pdf
file (a cheque) from one computer could be printed differently on different
models of HP printers. The shift was pretty small, but it was bad enough for
cheques. So, I had to create different reports for different printers!
Resume: it can be an Acrobat issue, not related to JDE.
Actions: try to print the file from the server/client out of JDE
Work Around: Recommend users to print the file from the client's Acrobat

Regards, Alex.

In your Acrobat Reader print dialog, uncheck the "shrink to fit" checkbox and the results should be identical to OneWorld's. Perhaps you have the wrong paper size set up for that printer, causing the shrinking to be necessary?

Re: RE: Print results different.

Thank you, guys.

I don't think it's a paper size problem, and we can't print it out of JDE also. It's a scheduled Robot job. We have to go through JDE print command. so maybe redesign the report is the only way so far.

Really appreciate your help.

Bud
