Pin the UDC on the Report Variable.

What is the easiest way to determine which UDC a table is using. I know I can go into UTB, and look at the column properties, but that only gives you the Product Code. How do I determine which UDC it is using without actually viewing each of them until I find the correct one?

Thanks

Hi Matthew,

First of all, welcome among the developers!

I am not sure that does it help but in most cases the Data Item holds the UDC assignment, although this property is overrideable in the applications but not overrideable at table and data structure level (BSFN and PO) as well as not overrideable on the selection, sequencing screens and in Processing Options.

Select the Data Item in the Data Dictionary and check the Edit Rule tab. It will tell you the Product Code as well as the Record Type.

Hope, could help.
