Jobs going into waiting status :(

Hello All,

Few of the jobs going into waiting status, we recently installed new logic servers since then issue appear, What all the stuff we have to check if jobs goes into waiting status[we are on windows XE, sql database]

if you are on Unix , check whether the queues are running (ps -ef | grep <owusername> would help). Check you new server's JDE.ini for any updates that you might need to do. check your OCMs and the P986115 for any irregularities.

Those would be my preliminary steps!!

Hi,

Check if there are other jobs running and that your
queues still have "slots" free.
Let's suppose you have a single-thread queue and
there's a job running there, any other job that
arrives to this queue will be left on W until the
first job finishes gracefully (or it's killed!)

1) Check the Ques services are running.
2) Check Muti Threaded Vs Single Thread.
3) Check Job status master file F986110 if it has a new Record
4) Change the Local INI and Queue to overide the Default Job Que.

Log will give us more clues.
