JDE, er, PeopleSoft, er, Oracle Xe support extended beyond 2/28

With the acquisition, rumors are rampant about the extension of Xe support (at no charge) beyond 2/28/05. Has anyone seen anything definitive and authoritative on this yet?

If true, this is very good news on behalf of customers and shows some commitment from Oracle behind the OneWorld product (even though the main reason for this is to protect maintenance revenue !)

An excellent step in the right direction...wonder how long support is going to go on for...

Right - The way we all figure it is if Oracle would keep 10 developers supporting XE they would very easily be able to pay for them (and still make a major profit) on all of the maintenance contracts that they would keep.

Today on Oracle's website I see that they will be having a "Launch Webcast" on January 18. Hopefully this will be more then just fluff. Some actual details would sure be nice.
