HTML Client - Freeze Grid Columns

Is there anyway to freeze grid columns in the HTML client? In other words when the user scrolls to the right in a grid I want the n number of left most columns to remain visible. Will this be possible in the latest tools release (which we are not on yet).

I think you will have to wait until E1 12.0

We're on 8.98.3.1 and there's no such functionality.

Currently the functionality to freeze grid columns is only available with applications on the Windows client. This functionality is not available on the Web Client.

There are multiple enhancement SARs requesting this functionality, including Bug 7733291 and more recently Bug 8932241 but at this point the functionality is not available on the web.

Thanks. I had heard they were adding features to the HTML client in the latest release. Was hoping this would be one of them.
