how to code!!!

Hello JDE Listers,

Whe we right click on the session after logging into the machine a window Pops up with PAD1 and PAD2 containing some Buttons like (PA1, PA2, Clear Reset ..etc).
For these buttons we can add our own functionalities for running queries .... etc. Now the question is how and where do we code for that.
Any thoughts or ideas will be highly appreciated.

At the top of the session click on Edit / Preferences / Popup Keypad.
I think you can have up to 4 keypads.

But... I have never found a use for this and only saw 1 person using it in all my years on AS400. More often I will create macros and assign a key to these or configure the keypad (like defining Ctrl-C to emulate the Windows Ctrl-C instead of having to click on Edit + Copy).
