How Can I Translate CPW to Processors / Memory?

I have worked with the AS/400 since it came out in the late '80's, primarily as a programmer and/or system administrator. I have worked with the 400 long enough to know that there is some secret Holy Grail kind of formula that is used to calculate CPW. I know what CPW stands for (Commercial Processing Workload).

What I am hoping is that someone (maybe a Richard Jackson type) can tell me how it translates into memory, processor speed, # of processors, etc. I have to believe that there are some ex-IBM'r that can shed some light on how it is calculated. I have seen the context in which CPW is used and it always comes down to being a relative meaure of the CPW of some other AS/400.

Can someone out there help me out?
