General Ledger Explanation - Item Descriptions vs. Item Numbers

Having an issue where F0911 General Ledger Explanation (GLEXR) is sometimes being populated with Item Descriptions instead of Item Numbers. All Branch Plants have been set up in the constants to use Item Number in the General Ledger Explanation. I am seeing it both ways during Sales Update and Forzen Cost Updates. Can't find anything so far in regards to processing options in the programs that would control or override this. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this item descriptions to be written when BP Constants are set to write item numbers? (This is happening on Xe)

I too have seen this in E811 SP1. I put it down to item setup or the way the entry got onto the GL. I haven't had the need to investigate it as an issue, but it would be interesting to find out the reason.
