Financial Reporting - Current Period Active, only

Howdy,

Is there a simple way to select F0902 Records that had activity in the 'selected' period, only?

Meaning - if a user runs a financial report for the current period - they don't want to get all the Blank Level Break Headers for the accounts that fit the data selection, but did not have activity in that period.

I can put in a processing options that says: If populated with a 1-14, append data selection where that period is not equal to zero.

I was wondering if there was an easier way.

Dan,

That will only get you non-zero net period movement. It is possible and even probable, depending on the accounts (eg suspense or clearing accounts), that there is activity during the period but the net period movement is zero.

For reporting on accounts with a non-zero net period movement (ie the F0902.GBAN?? is zero), what you suggest is the only way of which I am aware.

If you do actually need to report on accounts where there has been activity, regardless of the net period movement, then you will need to refer to the F0911.
