Excessive MRP Runtime for Process Items

We have been running MRP for discrete items for several years with no issues. We have now introduced process items to the MRP job and the runtime has gone up by a factor of 3 from 2 to 6 hours. We looked for any SARs on the Oracle site relative to F3411, F3412, & F3413 tables as well as the P3482 P3483 programs and did not find anything. Thanks for any tips you can provide.
